World Premiere - Thanks to the collaboration between one of the greatest interpreters of the Holy Texts, H.E. Archbishop Gianfranco Ravasi, and the visionary composer and orchestra director Marcello Panni, the last and most misterious book of the Bible becomes an impressive musical production: the Italian Military Band, with 45 wind instruments, including a gigantic pipe organ, plays "an ancient and timeless ceremony" where South American shamanic melodies melt with Medioeval and gregorian flavours. The 28 chorus elements will be the 24 Elders and the 4 living creatures (Eagle, Ox, Angel and the Lion) adoring the Holy Lamb, while the childrens choir will be the angels voice. The sound sculptures of the Russian Yuri Kalenderev has an important role in the percussions. The two acting voices, Andrea Giordana, Sonia Bergamasco will share the text. Before each part H.E. Archbishop will comment personally the symbolic content from John´s text.
