Tribunal Mist Jazz Band was founded in Naples in 1991 and is made up of twenty professional- musicians and musician-professionals, all bound by a pure passion for music, particularly jazz.
Lawyer Paolo Pannella is the deviser, artistic director, and musician of the band, while its “soul” and conductor is Maestro Antonio Solimene | Besides playing in numberless venues and domestic and international theatres, since 1996 the Tribunal Mist Jazz Band has been on the yearly program of the mythical temple of Parisian jazz, "Le petit journal Montparnasse". From 2003 to 2007, the Band has been called to perform at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia. Note autorizzate (Authorized Notes) is the Tribunal Mist Jazz Band’s last CD, featuring all new tracks except for the medley "Vecchio Frac"/"Libertango" originally written by Domenico Modugno and Astor Piazzolla, and "Arrivederci" by Umberto Bindi. The others tracks are written by Marco Zurzolo, Antonio Onorato, Massimo Spinosa-Nadia Boccarusso, Giovanni Tommaso and Renato Sellani: highly appraised composers who proudly "authorized" the Tribunal Mist Jazz Band to play their creative compositions, thus explaining the album’s title |
