He’s an extraordinary dance technician and creator, and his stage presence is amazing. Ever since he was considered a tip-tap prodigy at 12 years old, he passed from one success to another. In his last project, Classical Savion, he dances on music by Vivaldi, Bach, Bartók, Mendelssohn and even Astor Piazzolla. And in case the audience were missing tip-tap music, Glover closes the show putting together classical musicians – the young virtuoso academic talents full of enthusiasm conducted by Robert Sadin – with his familiar partners, the Otherz, a jazz band that couldn’t be softer. On stage, Glover is on a wooden platform supplied with microphones with musicians behind him on round stands, as if enveloping the dancer in a hug. |
