In the context of a territory such as the Spoleto - Norcia district, so rich in valuable historical organs, the Festival has the aim of exalting the charm, the importance and the prestige of such intruments, by revisiting and valorising pages of musical literature from the last centuries, that display their phonic, colour and technical-expressive resources. An artistic itinerary will be drawn, that will expose not only the spiritual connotations often implied in such production, but also other typologies of characterization, made possible thanks to the remarkable ductility of the organ, both as soloist and in combination with period instruments.
In particular, the following will be presented:
June 28th, 18.00, organ and historical oboe;
July 5th, 18.00, organ and baroque trumpet;
July 12 th, 18.30, organ, harpsichord, recorders and baroque flute.
Musical coordinator of the Organ Festival is M° Paolo Sebastiani, composer, organist and clarinetist, Chair of Theory of Harmony and Analysis at the Conservatory "A. Casella", L’Aquila.
