Approaching Theatre for social change and development from a variety of perspectives and geographical areas. The Symposium collects the experiences of an international panel of experts, operators and artists who focus on the practical application of theatre as a means for stimulating social change and development of territories, engaging communities in their artistic practices. The initiative also presents the conclusions of the European project PAIR Performing Art in Residence, supported by the European Commission through the Grundtvig programme, which was developed with partners from Germany, Belgium, Greek, Cyprus, Slovenia and Italy.
