Summer 2014 is time for Matteo Basilé, the Italian artist who has brought the culture of photographic portraits towards new aesthetic philosophies. Memory and future are the heart of his iconographic and conceptual universe, a pathway between the far past and near futurisms, (re)set in the eighteenth century halls of an apartment with numerous surprises.

RIA LUSSI
Emperors of Light
curated by Gianluca Marziani
Glass as privileged material for figurative sculptures: a project which reactivates the modernity of ancient statuesque, using the excellence of Murano glass for a journey through time between Roman and Byzantine emperors. Ria Lussi interweaves symbolism and philosophical aspects, irony and visual metaphors, defining the multi-code of an atypical, complex material, finally sculpted.
