| Casa Menotti Festival dei Due Mondi Documentation Center INAUGURATION Greatly desired by the Monini family and conceived with the collaboration between the Foundation, Fondazione Festival dei Due Mondi and the Comune di Spoleto, the Documentation Center of the Festival dei Due Mondi has its "natural" home within Casa Menotti, the historic palace in Piazza Duomo where the Festival originated and where the Maestro Gian Carlo Menotti lived, composed and hosted famous international artists. | The Documentation Center is a sign of continuity between past, present and future, where all the documented, audio, video, photographic and paper material, carefully catalogued and computerized, relative to the Festival editions from 1958 to this day, can be viewed. Being the historic memory of the Festival and the Maestro Menotti, the Documentation Center, open to all, will take you on a real time journey into the arts thanks to the most advanced mutimedia systems. |
