Contest Socially Correct 2011
"Solidarity, a collective value"
The "Paolo Ettorre - Socially Correct" Association, in collaboration with the Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto, is promoting an advertising competition on a theme of social relevance, to award a scholarship.
The Association was founded to commemorate Paolo Ettorre, who during his career always stood out for his sensitivity and social commitment, by promoting numerous cause-related advertising campaigns on issues of importance to society.
The competition is open to students resident in Italy, attending universities, public and private schools, vocational courses and/or post-graduate courses in communications. Each of the members of the winning "creative couple", will be entitled to an unpaid internship, respectively in the role of Art Director and Copywriter, in the creative department at the Saatchi & Saatchi Agency, in either the Rome or Milan office.
This year participants are requested to create a social campaign on an important theme of our times: solidarity - in line with the 2011 European Year of Volunteering that originated from the desire to encourage and support - in particular through the exchange of experience and good practices - the efforts of the Community and its State Members, local and regional Authorities, to create within the community, conditions conducive to volunteering in the European Union.
The aim of the communication project of the Socially Correct Competition 2011, under the patronage of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, is to promote active citizenship and stimulate a widespread diffusion of spontaneous commitment and sense of altruism amongst young people, so that each volunteer can contribute to the material and moral progress of society.
The presentation of the winning project will take place during the concert/show PIER PAOLO PASOLINI - REALITY with Claudio Santamaria, on July 3, 2011 at the Teatro Romano in Spoleto
