Original project with actor Claudio Santamaria, protagonist of numerous films and popular tv dramas, always at ease in difficult roles of those rebellious and different.
His encounter with poetry and the figure of Pier Paolo Pasolini takes place with the "mediation" of the beautiful music composed for the occasion by Flavio Emilio Scogna.
After starting as a dubber at the age of 16, he enrolls in the three year program of Acting Training held by Beatrice Bracco, and tries to undergo an audition for the Academy, but is discarded. Tenacious and confident in his abilities, Santamaria does not give up and finally makes his debut on stage with Our Town directed by S. Molinari. The leap to the big screen coincides with the audition for Fuochi d´artificio (Fireworks) by Pieraccioni. This is followed by roles in Ecco fatto (Here done) by G. Muccino and in L´ultimo capodanno (The last New Year) by M. Risi. His first starring role is given to him by A. Infascelli in Almost blue. With L´ultimo bacio (Last kiss) he finds Muccino again and after a few theatrical productions, he returns to movies with the much awaited Romanzo criminale (Crime novel) by M. Placido. In recent months he has been acclaimed by film critics for his participation in the mini series on RaiUno Le cose che restano (The things that remain) and for his interpretation of the theatrical monologue in La notte poco prima della foresta (The night just before the forest) by Koltés.
