production year 2011 For the second consecutive year C.U.T. of Perugia is back at the Festival dei Due Mondi. This happened once before in 63-64. University Theater Center (CUT) is an alternative education center. It is back with an all woman meta-theatrical performance -a real time jam session. This work shows the status of current research resulting from Via Psiconautica, developed by R. Ruggieri in years of exploration beyond the boundaries of "theatre" understood as "representation". Ludwik Flaszen is guest of honor. He co-founded the illustrious Teatr Laboratorium with J. Grotowski. He has been teaching at CUT of Perugia for twenty years. The psychonaut performer is an author, writes with her special ink. She dips into it using herself as a pen. She tries to decipher the elusive enigma of life and theatre, recording in progress her own author′s fading. She tries to find a sense to the ineffability of her self and to the occult messages and the meanings of life and theatre. The seed of this research has been and is still there, true nondepletable source. The psychonaut performer, chasing her own daimon and indissolubly united to her as to own shadow, a passage opens... in trying to grab it. | The "via negativa" (negative path), metaphysical tension in tollere (to remove), requires to oblivion, to a progressive renunciation of external actions by the performer, according to her own inner act, contained, able as it is, as an impulse, to furtively evoke the action, as a memory of witnesses, free from vain extroversions. An event not redundant, but unique of its kind. An unpredictable session, unique as performative act, different every evening according to the intuitions, the pulsations of wings of the performers through their own sober, intact and contained presence.
