In the French author′s narration, these two opposing characters embody the contrast between wisdom and rashness; however, in this version of the story, the ant and the cricket will eventually become allies. During this temporary friendship, what seems like a sort of a mix between reality and a dream, a third character appears: The Hornet, a dishonest businessman. In this funny, dream-like show, the music is the main protagonist, consisting of various performances of songs, giving life to a true variety of fairy-tales. The funny actions performed by the cricket, create surreal scenes, enchanting the viewers with continual variations of surprises and magic.
