The 51st edition of the Spoleto Festival takes place under the sign of the stage direction. Prestigious names of the visual creation have been invited to restore the original meaning and cultural significance of this event. The new edition of the Festival aims to offer the audience an initial example of the aesthetic ambitions that guide us, those which we will strive to fulfill along with an increase of attention for the liveliest movements of the worldwide creation. We believe that this is a chance to establish a dialogue between the many communication channels and the ingenious and artistic environments in the spotlight, and an ample opening towards the most important creators, the most vital and newest cultures, the most diverse pasts.
